Pennsylvania Business Retention and Expansion Program (BREP)
The Pennsylvania Business Retention and Expansion Program (BREP) was established in 1997 to forge better working relationships and stronger collaboration among various public, private, state, and local economic development organizations to retain and grow existing businesses. BREP is the most aggressive job retention program in the country. More than 250 professionally trained business liaisons visit between 8,000 and 9,000 Pennsylvania businesses annually. Since its inception, BREP representatives have completed more than 69,000 visits to Pennsylvania businesses.

The cost of energy is a critical issue facing Pennsylvania businesses. Sustainable Energy Fund participates in Pennsylvania’s Business Retention and Expansion Program as a statewide service provider. SEF serves to assist companies in securing capital in energy efficiency investments, and renewable and alternative energy projects.
