Jennifer Hopkins named Director of Finance for Sustainable Energy Fund of Central Eastern Pennsylvania
2006-07-21 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Jennifer Hopkins named Director of Finance for Sustainable Energy Fund of Central Eastern Pennsylvania (Allentown, PA) – The Sustainable Energy Fund (SEF ) of Central Eastern Pennsylvania – an Allentown-based non-profit, private organization dedicated to the use of renewable energy, clean energy technologies, energy conservation, and education – welcomes Jennifer Hopkins as Director of Finance. Hopkins, CPA, MBA, has significant and varied experience in corporate accounting and financial project analysis, in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. Most recently, she was controller for Consolidated Storage Companies (Tatamy, Pa.) and has managed accounting operations for Troy Manufacturing and Worldwide Technology Products (Hazleton); Can Do, Inc. (Hazleton); Heico Chemicals (Delaware Water Gap); and The Salk Institute (Swiftwater). A certified public accountant, with additional certification in federal contracts, Hopkins is an active member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Hopkins’ “rare blend of solid accounting skills and project analysis expertise, combined with her energy and passion for The SEF mission, will be a tremendous asset to our organization,” says Dr. Rex A. D’Agostino, President & Executive Director of The SEF. “The SEF Board of Directors and entire management staff are truly delighted to have her join our team.” A lifelong Pennsylvania resident, Hopkins currently lives in Drums, Pa. (Luzerne County). She is active in Penn State Alumni organizations.
