The Municipality LED Financing Program is designed to make it very easy for municipalities to upgrade to LED signals – we have a turnkey program that includes everything from an upfront energy audit, equipment selection, installation, financing, and guaranteed energy savings. Or, we have a variety of other options where the municipality or a vendor of their choice can do some of the project (or even the entire project), and we’ll provide the balance or just the financing (that option is becoming more popular).

Converting traffic or pedestrian signals from costly and inefficient incandescent light bulbs to LED modules is a simple, environmentally smart solution for reducing energy costs and use, resulting in:

LEDs Save Money & Energy: Across the country, an estimated 3 to 4.5 million traffic signals, powered by traditional incandescent bulbs, are costing taxpayers $2 billion a year. LEDs, which use semi-conductors to convert electrical energy into light, require only about 10% of the electricity and last longer, with a guaranteed life expectancy of at least five years, which also reduces maintenance costs.
