ALLENTOWN, Pennsylvania (April 5, 2010) Andrew Stein, Chairman of the Sustainable Energy Fund’s Board of Directors announced the election of two new board members. Pamela C. Polacek and Kenneth L. Mickens will assume their responsibilities as board members effective immediately for a three year term.
Ms. Polacek has a BS from Saint Joseph’s University and is a graduate of Duke University School of Law. She has been employed by McNees Wallace & Nurick since 1996 where she practices in the areas of electric, natural gas and other energy product regulation. She is the Board Chair of Channels Food Rescue and a former Member of the Board for the Dauphin County Bar Association.
Mr. Mickens, who maintains a private legal practice in Harrisburg, is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the University of Michigan Law School and spent twenty five years with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, most recently as a Senior Prosecutor in the Office of Trial Staff. He is also a Baptist Deacon at Goodwin Memorial Baptist Church in Harrisburg. “I am pleased to be associated with an organization as distinguished as SEF and I look forward to joining SEF’s energy conservation efforts” stated Mr. Mickens.
