Each summer SEF holds the Sustainable Energy Conference on a Pennsylvania College or University Campus. The program attracts students, educators, policy makers, business leaders, and entrepreneurs. The conference provides an intense learning and networking opportunity for attendees through a mix of topic-focused boot camps, educational seminars, presentations by manufacturers and policy makers, and panels of experts.

Green career seminars provide those entering the workforce, comtemplating a career change, or seeking reemployment with an overview of green careers. The seminars cover the basics of sustainability and social responsibility. Participants receive insight into the developing green markets, jobs skills, pay ranges, certifications, and education programs.

SEF is an Approved Professional Education Provider and as such can provide continuing education hours/credits as required by Act 48. SEF's training activities are related to energy conservation, energy efficiency, and renewable energy.
